C3 Scouting has a quick-hitter of an article of a series. Part one has six top prospects and/or standouts from the 2026 MN Comets Spring Shootout last weekend in St. Cloud.
Waleed Muhammad, 6’2 2027 guard, Richfield, MN Select 17U Fuerte
Muhammad was best on court at the Comets Spring Shootout. He’s an absolute defensive animal that makes opposing point guards want out of the game. Because he picks up full-court man-to-man on the ball-handler as soon as possible in change of possessions. He gets there quickly and he doesn’t let up. His offensive game was the best I’ve seen him play. He was getting to the rim often but he took things up a level by shooting the three well and getting them to fall consistently throughout the game.
