C3 Scouting Early Spring Minnesota 2027 Rankings
Top 26 prospects in the Minnesota 2027 class
The state tournament is behind us and we’re getting into full force into the hectic travel season that is impossible to stay caught up with. I was at the state tournament and the final day of the Comets Shootout as of recent.
I wouldn’t consider myself a full-fledged expert of the vast Minnesota high school basketball landscape quite yet. Nor do I have insider intel before most news breaks. But I have been viewing games live and online — and with most scouts — I trust what I see more than anyone else.
I also need to watch film on D1 Minnesota from the RecruitLook tournament, so that could alter some things as they are loaded with top 10 prospects.
The “Prospects to Watch” are prospects I need to see play more or they just missed the rankings. *Izyah Cook, Conner Watts, Carter Lowis are three I need more exposure to to be comfortable ranking them.
With that being said, C3 Scouting has a top 26 Minnesota 2027 prospects.
I will elaborate on tiers 1, 2, and 3 with an update, but I wanted to get this posted before it got too much past 10pm CT.

Tier 1
No. 1) Baboucarr Ann
Stock-rising past eight months or so with his ball skils continually progressing and playing more of a guard role at a true 6’5. The consensus #1 prospect by a slight margin.
No. 2) Ahmed Nur
Might have the most two-way upside with his elite positional length and defensive impact. He’s playing with Wisconsin program Kevin Looney Power 5 this offseason.
No.3) Deon Wallace-Johnson
The biggest stock-riser in the state and the best raw athleticism as a whole. He was listed at 6’2 but he looks closer to 6’3. He started playing point guard and he’s giving Russell Westbrook vibes with his motor and athleticism.
Tier 1 - Light blue
Tier 2 - green
Tier 3 - purple
Tier 4 - yellow
