C3 scouting was at Prep Hoops Dakotas THE EXPO in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and identified some key South Dakota stock-risers from the event.
C3 Scouting has the South Dakota stock-risers from Prep Hoops Dakotas THE EXPO. Some guys really balled-out in Sioux Falls. I will follow this up with some notes on both South Dakota and North Dakota prospects.
Tatum Sorensen - 6’2” 2026 Guard (Dakota Valley)
Sorensen, who is recovered from an ACL injury, rose his stock more than anyone. He kind of came out of nowhere, and I think he had people saying, “wow, who is this?” He was composed with the ball and showed explosive quickness at times as well. His decision-making and playmaking overall was highly impressive. A great two-way performance, as he was defending hard and was making plays on the ball, in help-side situations as well. His 3-ball looked nice and smooth, and his passing was next-level stuff. His IQ on the court was noticeable and he was making the correct decision time after time. Got out in transition and was lethal as a transition passer and scorer at the rim. Stock is way up and NAIA college coaches need to be in on Sorensen.
