Sanford Sports Academy ‘Who’s Next’ Boys Combine Review
Who’s Next Combine MVP, athletic testing results, all-combine teams, combine stock-risers, and part 1 of prospect evaluations.
The Sanford Sports Academy ‘Who’s Next’ Boys Boys High School Combine took place this Monday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the Sanford Sports Complex (Pentagon).
This article is part one of two as I need to go through more of the film to write about more of the prospects. After being there live and watching some online, C3 Scouting put together first-team and second-team all-combine teams. I’m not guaranteeing 100% accuracy on the teams because I normally like to watch all of the film, but I thought it necessary to get my initial reaction out there from the ‘Who’s Next’ Combine.
We also have six prospects that rose their stocks’ the most and an uncategorized list of 10 prospect evaluations—with more to come in part two—as the film gets unraveled.
Who’s Next Combine MVP
Deondre Painter, 6’3” 2027 Guard, Sanford Sports Academy 17U Black (Northern State University commit)
Painter was dominant and was a man amongst boys at the Who’s Next Combine. No other player could match his blend of strength, power, speed, + quickness—and he’s a skilled player and shot-maker—to make matters even worse for his opponents. I don’t want to overract to a showcase-type event, but Painter has been building upon it as well for making a case for being the #2 ranked 2027 prospect in South Dakota.
