C3 Scouting was there live at D2 University of Sioux Falls elite camp this past Friday. It was a fairly large event that had some D2 prospects and high-end NAIA prospects. Prospects from South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
I’ll go through some of the top prospects, standouts, and some simple, quick notes on the prospects. I did miss some of the action talking to some of the college coaches there, but I was able to get some valuable information as well. Videos are included for our subscribers to see what the prospects looked like from, a physical standpoint, rather than going off of describing words.
Asher Wieberdink, 6’8” 2027 Forward, Central Minnesota Christian, SW Minnesota Stars
Hieberdink was one of my top prospects, if not the top prospect from the camp. I have him as a top 15 prospect in the Minnesota 2027 class. He got going some in the 5-on-5 as a scorer and passer. He’s as versatile as they come and his passing ability might be his most profound skill. He’s long, athletic and has some spring to him.
Hieberdink just picked up a Southwest Minnesota State Morehead D2 offer.
