Ava Carolan, 5’11” 2027 Shooting Guard, TEAM Warwick 17U McCallum
Ava is a two-guard out of West Lyon High School in Iowa that has solid positional size at 5-foot-11. She holds offers from Wayne State University, Briar Cliff University, and Iowa Central (JUCO). At the Warwick Workouts Elite Camp, Ava was one of the more productive two-way players, snagging down rebounds and getting steals and turning it into offense on the other end. She ran the floor hard and the pushed pace with the ball. She didn’t show off her three-point shooting as much, but she was impressive from three for West Lyon, making 55 threes at 35.7%.
Logan Walkes, 5’6” 2029 Point Guard, TEAM Warwick 16U Parish
Walkes plays up a division on TEAM Warwick’s 16U Parish team. She’s a true left-handed point guard with a nice skillset of ball-handling, knockdown three-point shooting, and court vision and playmaking passing. She showed advanced basketball IQ for a young 2029 prospect and is one of the top 2029 point guards in South Dakota. At the Elite Camp she was moving the ball appropriately and setting up teammates for buckets—and she was hitting her rhythm threes consistently. I really appreciated her point guard play and she’ll be a valuable varsity point guard/guard for Brandon Valley and is a college basketball prospect as well.
