C3 Scouting was in attendance at the annual Warwick Workouts Girls Elite Camp this Monday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I was there on day two (Monday) and on day one (Sunday) there was a larger group of players—and some high-profile prospects missed day two due to high school team camp responsibilities.
But on Monday there was still a great group of prospects—especially a group of underclass prospects that are emerging in South Dakota and the region. Also of note, there were a handful of Iowa prospects, most especially those that play for TEAM Warwick.
This post is basically me giving somewhat timely feedback from the elite camp before going into more minute detail on the camp and the prospects in an article most likely to post tomorrow.
After watching live on Monday, watching over what I personally recorded, and viewing the tape that Warwick Workouts put forth—the awards are now in—and there were some tough choices on the all-elite camp teams. The players and teams are chosen with a lot of weight shifted on the 5-on-5 play.
In the upcoming article on the elite camp there will be heavier detail on how the attendees project as college prospects and how they specifically performed against the competition at the camp.
